Frequently-Asked Questions
Can I buy a Reframe for any frame or flatscreen?
Eventually, yes! We have some sizes in stock, but for most sizes, you’ll want to contact us about a custom order.
Can I get a custom order to fit my non-standard frame sizes?
Yes! Click on the “Custom Order” button at the top of this page for some basic info about the process of completing a custom order. You can contact us via the form at the bottom of this page or by email (contact@reframewraps.com) to let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll be in touch to discuss.
Can I wash my Reframe?
We definitely don’t recommend it. Unless you’re doing something kinda weird with it, your Reframe should only collect a little dust if used for an extended period of time. We suggest giving it a good shake-out as needed and before you pack it away for any length of time.
My Reframe is a little wrinkled after shipment. What do I do?
Our fabrics generally lose any light wrinkling once they’re straightened out. Put it on your intended frame or flatscreen and any wrinkles should fall right out.
I see some little imperfections in how my Reframe is sewn (or in how my bow-and-ribbon set is constructed). What's wrong with it?
Not a darn thing. Reframes aren't cranked out in a factory overseas by machines or by people who are exploited for their labor. They are touched at every phase by real human hands constructing each Reframe one at a time while being paid a fair wage with flexible hours. Some mild imperfections in the seams or other stitching are totally normal. If the imperfections are visible or otherwise cause your Reframe not to function properly, please let us know immediately!
How do I know what size to order?
In stock, we carry sizes that fit a standard flatscreen TV and frames that are close to those standard sizes, as well as Reframes for 11x14 frames. Measure your flatscreen or frame’s full length and width (as well as the diagonal) to see if our 32”, 50”, or 55” diagonal will fit your flatscreen or frame. Contact us if you’re not sure about sizing! You might need a custom Reframe.
My Reframe doesn’t fit quite right. Should I send it back?
Depending on the thickness of your frame or flatscreen’s outer casing, wiring in the back, or other factors, you may need to finesse your Reframe a bit. Before sending it back to us in exasperation, try sliding the fabric along the sewn-in elastic at the corners to see if you can make a tighter fit. You can also contact us for a little personalized guidance on making it fit right.
If you’ve tried adjusting it and it’s still sagging here or there, contact us for a return or exchange!
My bow arrived a little smashed. What do I do?
Our bows are made with wired ribbon, so they’re easy to adjust. Use your fingers inside each loop to give them a rounded bend and gently adjust the loops to a symmetrical look (unless you prefer them abstract, which is cool too!).
What if I knock my frame or my flatscreen TV off my wall while putting the Reframe on it?
Um…if you think your frame or TV isn’t attached solidly to the wall, please don’t put a Reframe on it! ReFrame Community, LLC isn’t responsible for busted flatscreens. If you’ve ordered the proper size, your Reframe should slide over the top corners easily and then you can gently slide the bottom corners on one at a time. We strongly suggest using a bit of counter-pressure when pulling at the corners, just to be extra safe.
